This fall, Chico Community Ballet, Chico Creek Dance, and MONCA come together to celebrate the power of collaboration through an evening of visual art, dance, music, and community connection. Designed for all ages, the event will spotlight the upcoming December production of A Very Chico Nutcracker while offering a rich and immersive cultural experience.
All proceeds of the ticket sales will go directly to MONCA

Featured Experiences
1. Art in Motion
Costumed ballerinas will pose on raised platforms, embodying elegance, strength, and poise. These sculptural, rotating poses invite guests to experience ballet as visual art, where stillness and form speak as powerfully as motion.
2. Nutcracker-Inspired Watercolor Activity
A hands-on art project for kids (and the young at heart). Participants will create watercolor works inspired by the enchanting world of The Nutcracker.
3. A Very Chico Nutcracker: Costume & Photo Display
Get a sneak peek at Chico Community Ballet’s upcoming performance with costumed dancers greeting guests, along with a curated display of costumes and promotional photography from past productions.
4. Refreshments & Social Lounge
Enjoy desserts and beverages while mingling with artists, dancers, and community members in a relaxed, art-filled atmosphere.
5. Access to MONCA’s Current Exhibitions
Explore MONCA’s curated galleries and exhibitions, creating a full-circle arts experience that celebrates the connection between visual and performing arts.
